Borderlands 4 Players Have Two More Shift Keys to Redeem Until September 24
Gearbox has released two new Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes, which can be redeemed for Golden Keys in-game for a limited time. Players need to act fast if they want to use these Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes, as they’re only active until September 24.
SHiFT codes are a reward system used by Gearbox to deliver items to players in-game. This can be cosmetics on occasion, although Golden Keys are much more common. These Golden Keys can then be used to open Golden Chests, which reward players with rare in-game items. For those not farming loot in the Borderlands 4 endgame, they’re a great way to consistently get Legendary items at any stage of the game. In a loot-focused title like Borderlands 4, SHiFT codes are an awesome addition to the experience.
New Borderlands 4 SHiFT Codes Are Valid Until September 24
In a post on X, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford shared two new Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes, which players can redeem to a connected account on the SHiFT website. The codes are J9XBB-KK9T3-CRTBW-BBT3T-KTBTW and JHFTJ-R5HBT-KF3TK-TBJT3-JJTHH. Each one gives a single Golden Key each, but these codes are only active until September 24, so anyone who wants to take advantage of them should act fast. Once they’re tied to an account, the Golden Keys remain there until used – they don’t need to be used in-game before this date.

Although it’s still very early in the game’s lifespan, Gearbox has not held back when it comes to releasing new Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes. It feels as though there’s more every weekday at the moment, which is great for players still slowly making their way through the game. They’re obviously not the only way to get shiny new weapons in Borderlands 4, but they’re a nice boost to have on occasion.
With the game now out into the world, the coming months will be defined by Borderlands 4‘s post-launch roadmap. The base game itself is very good, but its longevity may be determined by Gearbox’s ability to deliver excellent content further down the road. That, and whether the ongoing performance issues (particularly on PC) are resolved.
